Special report – With the tragic news of the suicide by train of the CEO of the Atlanta Transit system (MARTA), Jeffrey A. Parker death on Friday. I began to look into the work places (paths) that both Jeffrey Parker and Dan Grabauskas have worked and crossed, especially with the news reports stating that reporters are looking into Parker’s finances. As I began to look into the work places that both Jeffrey Parker and Dan Grabauskas have both worked, involving Federal Transportation and Mass Transit for cities and counties across the United States. Clearly their work places and jobs intertwined. These crossings bears to ask what possible hoodwinking dealings were and are ongoing in PUBLIC Transportation.

It’s also raises more questions about the continuing HART federal criminal investigation involving Honolulu rail and widens the scope of perhaps more bad actors involved across the nation. At the least, it bears a review of the possible track of intent of misusing federal dollars in cities and positions cohorts, into these unsuspecting cities, to be in the crosshairs, guiding each other on the tracks of misuse of Federal Transportation dollars. Overall the history of these buyouts and mismanagement of projects has been costly, demands immediate attention and action against duping and defrauding taxpayers.

We started to take a look back at their timelines of employment –

Dan Grabauskas was Secretary of Transportation in Massachusetts then went to work in 2005 at the same place as Jeffery A. Parker – the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority ( MBTA) who is the 5th largest public transportation network in the United States.

Dan Grabauskas received a substantial buyout from MBTA back in 2009 when he was forced to resign from MBTA, the ousting of Grabauskas reportedly cost $ 327,000 in tax payers money for errors and mismanagement under his tenure. MBTA also employed Jeffrey A. Parker. After a period of employment Jeffrey Parker went to the MARTA Transit in Atlanta GA  and Dan had made his way to Hawai’i as the CEO of HART in 2010. Grabauskas in 2016 was also again forced to resign from the HART Transit project in Honolulu after overbudgets, delays and a lot mismanagement of federal dollars for the Honolulu Rail Project. Yet, Dan was given another substantial buyout of $300,000 +. That is a substantially large amount of tax payers dollars and similar to what Dan had also gotten in the prior buyout in Massachusetts.

We also uncovered in a 2021 report signed by ( now deceased) MARTA CEO, Jeffery A. Parker that listed Grabauskas Consulting with a contract for over $100k with MARTA since 2019. Dan Grabauskas was awarded the contract for consulting and a monthly award of $30,000 a month paid by MARTA .
