City & County of Honolulu Trash Truck left smoldering after a fire broke out

A City and County of Honolulu Trash Truck caught fire today near the Pearl City Walmart. Smoke from the fire was reported and could be seen from as far away as the McDonald’s and Baby’s Our Us Store. The Honolulu Fire Department responded and quickly extinguished the Fire located in the Bed of the Trash Truck, the C & C Trash Truck could still be seen smoldering this morning around 9am which was located at the Board Of Water Supply’s Base Yard behind Wendy’s Restaurant. No news as to what caused the fire or if any City workers suffered any injuries. Watch our footage here:
