From the State of Hawaii’s non compliance with President Obama’s HEARTH 2009 ACT (Homeless Emergency Assistance and Rapid Transition to Housing Act), to Honolulu Mayor Caldwell continued harassment and chasing of Homeless Families in the Kakaako Area. We wanted to share the heart breaking story told to us on video of the senseless death of a Homeless Mother Tabitha Woods who died on her birthday in Waikiki last January 2014. Watch our TV SHOW “Pathways to Paradise” tomorrow evening as the friend of Tabitha Woods who tried to help her talks about being turned away by professionals and left to try to help his friend. Jay hopes that by telling and advocating for Tabitha and other  Homeless Individuals,  he can create the “Tabitha Clause”, that would force intervention and mandate help when someone is in drier need, and to not be turned away  by  any agencies or government, and that  in a case like Tabitha an ambulance would have been called ,  instead  of the homeless person needlessly dying under a tree in Waikiki.

Also high paid CEO’s, State and City Officials like Colin Kipin, June Yang and others regurgitate Stats and numbers, while money are squandered by government and organizations like U.S. Vets and the homeless continue to fall through the cracks. As we found are creating only a revolving door of no help  or services by Catholic Charities,  IHS, U.S Vets and the VA – Veterans Affairs for many homeless individuals and Families .
