You don’t need to go off to the remote outskirts of the Archipelago of the Hawaiian Islands. Our trash is visible right in front of us, and the truth is we can not keep blaming the Homeless. In Pearl City at the Hale Moku Senior residence, the maintenance crews confirmed that it is not the Homeless, but the Residents who had discarded more than 30 Shopping Carts at this housing complex.

Car Parts from Automotive repair Shops, Medical Waste and medications from Care Homes loosely discarded onto side streets near city parks, schools and residential area’s. In one pile we found prescriptions from both Safeway and Kaiser Permanente just loosely discarded with dozens of illegally dumped Radiator tops in Ewa on a side road near Asing, the City park area. And dozens tires and furniture several yards further down. City Workers shared that Construction companies illegally leave construction debris at the Asing park and they find other large quantities of discard household and automotive parts around the area, that is clearly not from the Homeless. While just a few blocks away on Geiger road their is an Municipal Site to bring your trash too, but people don’t care.
