Christian shared that, “Conscious Designers Hawaii was founded on the basis of eco-conscious designs by designers who care about sustainability, details and the rewards of their labor. Along with providing a forum for designers, we are committed to connecting with consumers who are looking for the more eco “friendly” approach to shopping.

The event served as a fundfaiser for Dress a Girl Around the World, a non-profit that aims to help underprivilaged girls feel loved and respected.  50% of the proceeds raised at this event will be used to help local communities. The event included a Panel Discussion and the opportunities to feature up-and-coming designers displaying their eco-friendly designs during the Progressive Launch Party held at BoxJelly/Fishcake. Christian said this has been a great way to share a diversity of designers, eco-friendly designs, fashion and the concept of Hawaii’s young leaders of a thriving, sustainability-focused fashion community.
