The DOD left many unmediated sites for decades, like Radford High School and Makalapa Elementary, also contaminated soil has been dug up and loosely dumped all over Oahu. The EPA had some records indicating 18 superfund sites on Oahu, including Radford and Red Hill, yet theses new disclosure’s are treated as if no one knew about these problems, when in fact its only been a culture of lies to cover up and hush up. Instead the DOD and in particular the Navy takes a hands off “NO-Fault” approach. Where are the fines by the State Department of Health, and the EPA to the DOD and the Navy, for the continued degradation to Hawaii’s land, the soil, our water and endangerment to the wild life? No stewardship, no integrity, or protection to uphold environmental law, the Clean Water Act, to the Land & Water resources the DOD & the Navy are entrusted to protect.
