“The Power of Media ” a Global Journey.

While covering the NYCIFF, I received in 2011 a special recognition from Caroline and Roberto Rizzo the founder of the Festival, the 2011 NYCIFF award for “The Most Creative TV Pilot”.

As a  TV Producer and Multi -Media Executive, media stories have allowed me to  travel Globally and using the power of media to filmed President Obama, US Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton along with 21 other world leaders during APEC 2011.

Having the opportunity to have filmed, edited and produced over 250 TV shows, my film reach has taken me to cover a wide range of topic’s in the United States & Asia, including STEM, Energy at MIT, Fashion in NYC & the Philippines, and with President Aquino in Manila with his dedication to clean up the Environment and his work on Anti-Poverty in Manila and across his Nation.

Some of the highlights have been the opportunity to cover events at the United Nations in NYC and in Honolulu with Ambassador Anwarul Karim Chowdhury. I have interviewed William Holloman and Alexander Jefferson, some of the  famous WWII Tuskegee Airman whom were a part of some of the most successful bomber escorts of WWII.

My Media Career continues to expand my horizons and open doors to share my multi-media platform, my “Pathways to Paradise TV Show”, and my insights, in 2012 I presented to an international crowd my Movie Teaser “The Essence of Gold” at the NYCIFF. I call the “New York City International Film Festival” (NYCIFF) the “United Nations” of Film Festivals. My Movie Teaser “The Essence of Gold” premiered for the first time during my presentation at the NYCIFF International Marketing Weekend and was also shown on the big Screen as an extra during the NYCIFF week at the Abington Theatre.

Thank you again to Caroline and Roberto Rizzo for having me on the International Marketing panel and the opportunity for me to speak to an international group of Movie Producers, Actors and Executives. Roberto best describes “The New York City International Film Festival is a comprehensive distribution platform dedicated to acquiring and marketing independent films across multiple platforms, including video on demand, theatrical and home video domestically and internationally”.

Highlights of the NYCIFF a great montage of red carpet excitement filmed by Ash Kalmar and then my interview with German producer Jan-Philipp Jarke, on the highly charged social issue of sexuality, rape and how it leads to murder, based on a true story watch our interview with the director of this award winnning German film

This year, Roberto Rizzo shares that “the New York City International Film Festival (NYCIFF), in partnership with Paramount Pictures, will present an exclusive festival screening of ‘World War Z’ in IMAX 3D starring Brad Pitt on June 19, 2013 at AMC Lowes 312 West 34 Street, NY 10001 – (Between 8th and 9th Avenue) Red Carpet event will start at 6:00pm Screening 8:00pm”.

He told us a little about the Paramount Pictures movie. Paramount made, “World War Z, directed by Marc Forster, starring Brad Pitt as a United Nations employee Gerry Lane, is an action/drama/horror film based on the novel by Max Brooks, with screenplay by Matthew Michael Carnahan. Gerry Lane traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments, and threatening to decimate humanity itself.”
