What is Humanity’s Agenda as we begin 2013, is it in the constance for equality, to end poverty, to fight against discrimination of minorities and women, to find solutions to homelessness? To combat the inequalities, lack of transparency, accountabilities and responsibilites in the corporate, financial and social systems of government and communities? Individually and as a global society/community we must decide and deliberate together, these disparities and create dialogues with action by demanding that it be on the forefront of our agenda’s if we are to avoid our own Fe´lo-de-se of Humanity. Otherwise we are just a “time bomb of societies own self-annihilation”, without solving and understanding our disparities, while truly respecting & embracing the needs for equalities of all the people of our planet.

Social Scientists, Historians, and Economists would not argue or disagree on Humanities past history, that the success in any Civilization depends on the constant of balancing out the disparties and inequalities. It can be shown that the measures and gauges of prior imbalances of society and government have ended great civilizations.

Noting that the survival of not just our current civilization, but any civilization is balanced on these truths and facts, that we have much more work to do to balance the social, financial and economic disparities amongst individuals, communities, government, between countries, regions, financial markets and industries. These principles need to be at the core of humanity’s agenda.

In our recent article in September about the High Level Forum at the United Nations on September 14, 2012, convened by H.E. Mr. Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser, President of the United Nations General Assembly, we were reminded how we are a world that continues to live, but maybe hopefully soon putting aside our of centuries of “dominance, intolerance and violence” toward each other and between nations. And that we must “begin to allow others to have full participation at all levels of decision making” and thereby structure the equality, proserity, peace and security for Humanity.

So as Americans it is hoped that we will be cognitive, committed and involved, as we continue our debate of the new fisical reality and needs of our budgets for defense, infrastructures, environmental, social, economic and government, perhaps these questions will stay on the forefront is our budgets and spending building upon our own Fe´lo-de-se of American and Humanity globally. Or is it building on the wellbeing for all and the survival of our Civilization?
