Hawaii’s “8 Flavahz” turns it on

Hawaii’s “8 Flavahz” were hot stepping and flipping it with the musical rifts of David Guetta, the Challenge featured the vocal hit’s from Usher and Nicky Minja, Turn Me On, and Without You. And Hawaii’s own 8 Flavahz burned up the stage with an energy that only 8 young talented ladies could pour out. The girls have roared all the way to the finals on MTV’s ‘America’s Best Dance Crew’ and will compete with vote’s to win the top spot in the Season 7 finale this Wednesday evening.

And for crew member Angel Gibbs, the hope of winning ‘America’s Best Dance Crew’ means more than just dancing and winning a title — she hopes to donate a portion of the prize money to her mother’s fight against colon and liver cancer. This all-girl group from Honolulu, Hawaii plans to win voters over with their signature performance style called the “flava funk.”

The all-girl group is made up of Angel Gibbs, 12, Camren “Cam Cam”” Bicondova, also 12, Charlize Glass, 10 and the youngest contestant.
Jaira Miller, 14, Kaelynn Gobert-Harris, 16, Summer Waikiki, 12, Tamara “Cherri” Rapp, 17 and Tiara “Pom Pom” Rapp, 17, and all from the beautiful Hawaiian Islands.
